Austen Kroll Announces Plans to Open a Brick and Mortar Beer Tasting Room
The Southern Charm beer mogul is eying spaces for his beverage business, Kings Calling Brewing Co.
Now that he's officially dropped Trop Hop, a tropical-fruit-infused IPA beer, Austen Kroll is dreaming up new ideas for Kings Calling Brewing Co. The Southern Charm mogul has set his sights on opening a tasting room, and he's currently checking out spaces in Charleston.
In an exclusive statement to BravoTV.com, Austen said: "Since launching Trop Hop, I’ve had the good fortune of landing the support of the local Charleston community and securing placement in bars around town. The growing success has led me to want to strike while the iron is hot, and look for a brick and mortar tasting room, a physical address [where] patrons can come taste Trop Hop and other delicious offerings that we will hopefully be brewing. The goal is for the Kings Calling portfolio to expand into everything from wheat beers to porters!"
Austen gave his followers a peek at one of the spaces he toured in his Instagram Stories from October 24, Lofty and large, the Charleston venue looked like a promising place to knock back a beer or two. So, is this venue the one? "Stay tuned," Austen teased.
In the meantime, Austen's not the only Southern Charm-er who's getting into the hospitality industry in a major way. His buddy Craig Conover is in the process of opening a Mexican/sushi fusion restaurant.
