Shep Rose Reveals His Favorite Places to Eat and Drink in Charleston
The Southern Charm pal submitted his — admittedly biased — picks to his ShepGear website.
Shep Rose has been seen helping to get a few different Charleston bars off the ground by investing in them, and if you're headed to South Carolina, the Southern Charm pal has you covered on his website, ShepGear. There, he's got a "kid-free itinerary" including projects he's been involved in (he fully admits he's "biased") and the bars, clubs, and restaurants he loves to frequent in Charleston. He calls his pics "ShepRecs," which does have a catchy ring to it, doesn't it?
One of his favorite investments is The Palace Hotel, which isn't actually a hotel but a small restaurant where, "the food is low-key really good (hot dogs, tacos, burgers, boiled peanuts). The beers are cold and served by some good friends," he wrote. "Definitely a Local hang out."
He also reveals where to get the best Chinese savory pancakes (unexpected for the area), top-notch sushi and, once you've digested, which clubs are best to hit if you're looking for bottle service and millennials — or how to avoid all that, if you prefer.
Oh, and here's another hot tip: If you're all about Shep's booze-soaked and fried "ShepRecs," you might also want to consider his friend Kathryn C. Dennis' genius strategy for a summer body.
You're welcome!
