Amanda Batula Gives an Update on Her Health: "We're Moving in the Right Direction"
The Winter House cast member shared how she's feeling these days after previously opening up about her health and fertility journey.
On Summer House Season 7, Episode 3, Amanda Batula opened up to fellow cast members Paige DeSorbo, Mya Allen, Danielle Olivera, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, and Samantha Feher about her concerns surrounding her health and fertility.
The New York City resident explained she had not gotten her period at all after she went off of birth control in the prior fall. Then, on Episode 11, Amanda also revealed she was unintentionally and steadily losing weight. "Something is happening,” she said in an interview. “It’s weird being a woman.” Amanda later shared on Episode 13 that she met with a doctor and discovered she had an issue with low estrogen.
During the airing of the season, Amanda went on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and shared that her health was "a lot better" following her time in the Hamptons. "Everything's flowing the way it should," Amanda told host Andy Cohen on the show. "Yeah, I'm flowing."
More recently, the Winter House beauty opened up via social media about what's currently going on with her health.
Amanda Batula shares new details about her health
In a November 11 Instagram post, Amanda shared a series of photos and videos from BravoCon 2023 showing off the stunning black feather minidress she rocked for one night of the epic weekend. In the comments section, a follower praised Amanda for her gorgeous style, also noting how "healthy and absolutely glowing" she looked.
Amanda then responded to the social media user, giving an update on her health in the process. "I feel better now too," she shared. "Everyone just needed to bear with me while my body and hormones sorted themselves out. We’re still working out the kinks but we’re moving in the right direction!!"
Amanda Batula's previous details about her health journey
In addition to her recent social media update, back in May, Amanda chatted with Glamour about her fertility journey, explaining what it was like opening up about her experience on Summer House.
“We’re all going through something with our menstruation journey… It’s interesting to have three different women from three different backgrounds… and none of us are the same,” Amanda said.
Moreover, considering the aforementioned social media support from her followers, Amanda noted that a lot of people have reached out to her both publicly and privately via her Instagram DMs. “I have private support, I have quiet support, and I’m OK with that,” she added.
Amanda also noted she and Kyle were still holding off on planning for children anytime soon.
“We’re both not ready to have kids,” Amanda told Glamour. Instead, at the moment, the two are focused on the growth of Loverboy.
