Are Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula leaving New York City?
On Summer House Season 8, which premieres on Thursday, February 22, at 9/8c on Bravo (new episodes will stream the next day on Peacock), Kyle and Amanda attend to the ins and outs of their relationship amidst a slew of new challenges.
After Amanda faced a potential pregnancy (as we saw on Season 3 of Winter House), she is now "contemplating the next step and her identity outside of her marriage," according to a press release.
Moreover, Amanda is also "ready to leave city life behind and buy a house in the suburbs" — a major move that Kyle may not be ready for as he "continues to expand and focus on his company," Loverboy.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's real estate plans
Kyle and Amanda previously discussed their real estate plans during Part 2 of the Summer House Season 6 reunion when they revealed they were considering buying a house together.
Amanda questioned Kyle, “When are we gonna buy a house?” to which he replied, “When it’s not a bad market.”
Moreover, during NBC Universal's upfront presentation in May 2022, Kyle shared more details about the couple's home-related plans.
“There’s been lots of talks about like, ‘How long are we going to stay in the city?’” Kyle told BravoTV.com at the event. “You know, right now it’s a frothy real estate market, which gives me a little time.”
“I think I want to try to ride this out in New York [City] a little longer,” he continued. “I’m thinking Amanda is starting to kind of agree. Like, we don’t know, are we going to Westchester [County, New York]? Are we going to New Jersey? Connecticut? There [are] so many options. Right now, we’re still trying to build Loverboy, and we have an office now here, and I just can’t imagine a world in which we had to commute. So, TBD.”
