Ashley Wirkus Just Upgraded Her All-White Kitchen with the Chicest Pendant Lighting
The Summer House alum showed off the new additions to her open, bright white kitchen.
Ashley McAtee Wirkus' chic open kitchen just got even brighter.
In an Instagram Story posted on Thursday, March 5, the Summer House alum shared a photo of her white and gray kitchen area, specifically shouting out the white pendant lights that were installed that day. The lighting fixtures hang above a spotless white island countertop, which is completely bare save for a vase filled with white flowers and a roll of paper towels. In keeping with the decor theme of the room, four gray and white chairs with gold accents sit on one side of the sizable counter.
Ashley has given her followers a glimpse into other rooms of the home she shares with her husband, Brad McAtee, and their son, Dean. Prior to giving birth to Dean in May 2019, she shared a look inside the baby's room. "Finally finished baby boy McAtee’s room," she wrote. "Can’t believe how hard it was to actually make decisions for a boy’s room but I love how it turned out."
As seen in the series of photos, the room is filled with blue, white, and gray decor, including a blue accent wall, royal blue curtains, a round gray accent mirror, and chair. Above the little one's Restoration Hardware crib are two framed quotes, one of which reads, "I love you to the [moon] and back," while the other encourages Dean to "Dream big, little one."
Never too young for custom decor, Dean also has a chair monogrammed with his first initial, which has become one of Ashley's go-to spots to seat her son for adorable photos.
Originally hailing from California, Ashley previously lived in New York City while filming the show alongside her twin sister, Lauren Wirkus. Now, both sisters are settling back into West Coast life.
"I’m going going, back to back, to Cali Cali," Lauren announced in a February Instagram post. "After 8+ years of living in NYC I can officially say now I’m freakin’ BI-COASTAL and basically going to live the dream splitting my time between both San Diego and NYC (with an emphasis on Southern California until it warms up on the east coast)."
