Danielle Olivera Opens Up About Moving to Charleston with Robert: “This Is Very Scary”

As Summer House and Southern Charm worlds continue to collide, the latest development we're tracking in Season 6 of Summer House is that Danielle Olivera and her boyfriend, Robert Sieber, might or might not be moving to Charleston. 

Danielle explained in the April 4 episode that "a dream job has come up" for her chef boyfriend, "but it's in Charleston." She opened up more about contemplating the big move in the April 11 episode: "This week, there's been a lot of movement on Charleston," she said in her interview. "It's not a done deal, but it's becoming so much more real. This is very scary to me because I've never pictured myself moving somewhere else for a man. Am I even ready for that? Do I even want to do that?"

Though the couple seems split on the decision — Robert declared in the April 11 episode, "We're going," but Danielle admitted, "Honestly, I don't know" — someone else is very much on board for a relocation to the South: Paige DeSorbo, who's been mulling the topic herself because her own boyfriend, Craig Conover, lives in the South Carolina city. 

"[Charleston] is like out of a movie," Paige gushed to Danielle in the April 4 episode. "It's just not like any place I've ever been." The following week, she doubled down: "Pack your bags, we are going," she said to Robert and Danielle during their boho beach picnic, adding to Danielle: "If you don't go, you'll regret it." Robert's agreement came in the form of an epic reference to The Hills (as if we didn't adore him enough already). "You'd be the girl who didn't go to Paris," he joked to his love.

Still, it seems the plans never came to fruition (or at least not yet). After leaving the Hamptons last summer, Danielle shared an update on her and Robert's living situation in December 2021. "Robert moved into our new apartment in Williamsburg, [Brooklyn, on December 1] and then packed up and moved to Aspen, CO on [December 5]," she shared on Instagram. "He's the culinary director for the Snow Lodge in Aspen and the Surf Lodge in Montauk. He'll come back home in April, hopefully take a little time off, and then go to Montauk for summer."

"We live together but are also long distance," she continued. "It's crazy but we are figuring it out."
