So Here’s What Kyle Cooke Is Always Late-Night Eating in the Summer House
The Summer House cast member has a midnight snack habit that Mya Allen finds a bit “disrespectful.”
On the Season 7 premiere of Summer House, Kyle Cooke ended the group’s first night in the Hamptons with his typical late-night routine: digging into some food. His choice at the time was frozen cookie dough, because as he put it, “There’s no way I can sit here and wait.” In the video above, Kyle shares new details on that sweet treat in particular, and what other bites he reaches for after a night of partying with his housemates.
In the clip, Kyle and Mya Allen show the (sometimes “embarrassing”) food items the cast members have stocked in the kitchen. Pulling a bag of cookie dough from the freezer, Mya knowingly asks, “Could these be The Knead cookies, frozen?”
Indeed, the dough from Mya’s cookie company is a go-to for Kyle. “Occasionally, I’ll come back from a late night out at the library,” Kyle quipped, “and I’ll just eat it like a goddamn, like, ice ball.”
However, Mya has one issue with Kyle’s habit. “But then you leave half of the cookie back in there, which is disrespectful,” she says, to which he replies, “I’ve never, ever wasted a cookie.”
As for the other foods Kyle eats “late at night,” he explains those typically include “whatever’s on the counter.”
On a February 2022 episode of Summer House, Mya opened up about running The Knead. “My primary focus is to spread love through cookies,” she said. “For now, it’s a part-time gig. But I hope that one day it becomes my full-time job.” Shortly after, she shared she was busier than ever. “Right now, business is entirely insane,” she declared on a March 2022 episode of the We Should Talk podcast. “I can’t put it into words! I thought I was prepared; I was not prepared. But I always wanted to do a business where I would just drop cookies similar to a Beyoncé album drop, and now I have the platform to do that. So now I have a waiting list. I’m not taking orders right now. I’m catching up!”
On the show’s Season 6 reunion in May 2022, Andy Cohen also had high praise for the treats. “All right, this is what I’m talkin’ about,” he said as he took a bite. “You baked these yourself? This is iconic.” Once he took a bite, he was blown away: “Yum. These are really good.”
