This Is How Much Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen Have Changed in 20 Years
The Real Housewives of New York City alums shared a photo update on their 19th anniversary.
Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen's lives have definitely changed since they left The Real Housewives of New York City after Season 4. The couple and their two sons, Francois and Johan, left Brooklyn for New South Wales, Australia, where Simon has family, in late 2014. And Alex and Simon traded reality TV for new careers entirely: "Simon decided to go to law school, and he's halfway through at this point. And I decided to get a degree in psychology," Alex previously shared.
Simon has since gone on to be a director of van Kempen & Associates and Alex graduated summa cum laude with her bachelors degree in psychology.
However, while some (major) things changed, one thing has stayed the same: The couple seem as happy as ever. Alex took to Instagram on May 28, sharing a new photo of her and Simon, writing, "Happy 19th (with 20 years together) to my very best friend Simon. No one I would rather ride with on this train of life!"
