Alex McCord Shows Off Her New Australian Home
Get a first look at her and Simon's sprawling estate Down Under.
They say home is where the heart is, and for former Real Housewives of New York City standout Alex McCord, that heart just moved halfway around the world.
Back in September, Alex shared with the Daily Dish the reasoning behind her big move. "Over the last few years, all of [my husband] Simon's family have reconvened from as far as Europe to all live within 20 minutes of each other on a collection of beautiful beaches on the north coast of New South Wales," she said. "We are the last of the family to move back, and it's time."
And she wasted no time in celebrating, throwing a mini family reunion dinner, which she shared on her Instagram. "Saturday dinner for the family at our place," she titled the candid shot. "This is why we moved here! 18 (or was it 20, can't remember) family members eating, swimming and enjoying…"
The family's new abode is a "beautiful old Queenslander," complete with a generous wrap-around deck, plenty of space to entertain, and, of course, a gorgeous pool.
And we have a feeling that the family's new digs will be the number one choice for any and all pool parties, judging by this snapshot. Looks like Francois and Johan will have no problem getting used to their new life Down Under.
As for Simon? He seems to think the family's migration back to the Motherland was simply meant to be. "We've been in our new house just over 1 week and this is the third rainbow more or less in the same spot in that time," he captioned this shot. "Is this an omen?"
