Andy Cohen Reveals His Dream "Wild" Plans for When He Can Invite an Audience Back to the WWHL Clubhouse
Andy Cohen also shared which guest he's hankering to interview IRL in the WWHL Clubhouse.
Andy Cohen might be back in the Clubhouse to film Watch What Happens Live, but guests and audience members are still appearing on the late night talk show virtually in video chats amid the pandemic. And on the February 18 episode of WWHL, the host opened up about a time someday in the future when he can invite others to join him in the studio.
"The first guest I want back in the Clubhouse? That's a really good question," he told one viewer, before citing the frequent WWHL guest he's been thinking about. "I actually was sitting here during the break, thinking I want to figure out a way to get John Mayer back, obviously."
(John did make a virtual appearance on WWHL last April.)
From there, Andy shared his wish for what he would want that first night back with a live studio audience to look like. "What I think that, when we do have an audience in the Clubhouse, I want to do something crazy. I want to take a shot every three minutes. Or have a bell that rings, and we all have to do a shot at that time," he said. "I want to get legless the first time we're all in here together with an audience. I want to go absolutely wild."
Andy returned to the WWHL Clubhouse back in October after seven months of shooting the show remotely due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. At the time, he shared with viewers that he was "absolutely thrilled to be back in the Clubhouse for the first time since March," adding, "I bet if these walls could talk, they'd say 'Where the f--k have you been?'"
In a statement, he added at the time, “We feel so fortunate to have kept the show going remotely, but there’s no place like our Clubhouse. I cannot wait to come home to my tchotchkes and elbow my crew.”
