Will We Ever See a Show Featuring the Kids of the Real Housewives? Andy Cohen Tells All...
The Watch What Happens Live host teases it could be "so cool."
Bravo fans have literally watched the kids of the Real Housewives grow up right before our eyes. Motherhood is a big part of the lives of the 'Wives from across the franchise, and viewers have witnessed their offspring at various stages of their development, sometimes even when they were still in their moms' wombs.
Actually, many of those children are no longer even kids. In fact, many are now adults with careers and families of their own.
So, could there ever be a show that follows the lives of the Real Housekids? When The Daily Dish recently spoke to Andy Cohen, he answered that very question. "I mean, I think it could be cool. It would be wild. We'll, you know, we'll see," the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host said. "A lot of times the kids are the ones who are keeping the parents on track."
Whatever the future holds, lucky for fans, a special episode of WWHL will give viewers a chance to catch up with kids from across Bravo. The May 9 episode, taking place during the WWHL A-MAY-Zing Bravo Party Week in honor of Mother's Day, will feature Brielle Biermann, Riley Burruss, Frankie Catania, Briana Culberson, Gia Giudice, Albie and Chris Manzo, Brooks Marks, Shane Keough, Noelle Robinson, Avery Singer, Kairo Whitfield, and an appearance by Portia Umansky, so make sure you tune in.
You can catch a preview of Gia's appearance in the episode, above.
In previous interviews with BravoTV.com. both Noelle and Riley addressed if they'd ever want to be a Real Housewife someday and follow in the footsteps of moms Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss, respectively.
"I would definitely consider it, yes. I do [know what it's like]. I think it would be definitely a great opportunity. I always think about that: Like, 'What if we had our show?'" Noelle told The Daily Dish in 2019. "I thought that would be really cool. Just putting it in the atmosphere."
Riley shared her take on it in a 2021 interview with Bravo Insider, saying, "I don't know, possibly. I don't think I would be in Atlanta 10 years from now, but I think it would be interesting."
Of course, Andy is a dad himself. When asked how he would feel if son Ben wanted to ever share his life on a reality show in the future, he told Bravo Insider: "I would say be very careful, and I would say be very careful with your social media. And I would say, I would want to know everything about the show. My first question would be, 'Who's the production company?'" Andy said. "I would say, 'Why are you doing it? What do you want to get out of it?'"
