Andy Cohen is ready for a change of scenery from the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse. You see, the talk show host has been confirmed to make a cameo on Riverdale. Entertainment Weekly first broke the news and Andy shared a bit more about the upcoming gig in an exclusive statement to The Daily Dish.

“I grew up reading Archie Comics and fell in love with Riverdale last year. Now they’ve offered me the part of my dreams—I get to play Andy Cohen!” he shared.

According to EW, the cameo will give him the chance to flex his acting muscles on the same show as his real-life pal, Mark Consuelos. He'll film his cameo this week and according to the CW, Andy “will be playing himself and he’s an old friend of the Lodges who has come to Riverdale to offer Hermione [Marisol Nichols] a helping hand.” In case you somehow don't watch Riverdale, Mark plays Hiram Lodge, which may mean these two pals could share some screen time with one another.

No details on when Andy's cameo will air, but given how much fun he's had with Mark and his wife, Kelly Ripa, in the past (see above and below, for evidence), we're just counting down the days until we get to tune in...
