Are Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo Getting Engaged?
The Daily Dish learns all about the #SouthernCharm star's proposal plans.
We watched Craig Conover buy his girlfriend Naomie Olindo what he dubbed "a pre-engagement ring" during Monday night's episode of Southern Charm, but is he planning on getting down on one knee and proposing for real anytime soon? "I would say no longer than two years from now," Craig told The Daily Dish about when he plans on getting engaged to Naomie. "I'd say that in a year from now is when I'll probably be getting pretty serious and shopping around for rings and saving up. I guess I started saving up a little bit."
And Craig has some très cool plans for how he's going to pop the question. He's currently learning French so that he can ask Naomie's father for her hand in marriage in his native language. He has also talked to Naomie about proposing on a glacier, which has unfortunately kind of eliminated the element of surprise. "I hate it now because it's such a unique thing that now I'm gonna have a really hard time surprising her," Craig joked. "If we go to a glacier, it's probably pretty obvious."
Craig isn't only planning on putting a ring on it in the near future. He and Naomie have also talked about starting a family, which is something he said she didn't initially want. "I've always wanted kids. I love kids. And it's funny because Naomie hated children. She never dreamt of having a kid because she had never dated someone that she was actually passionate about, so the thought of bringing children into the world with them was awful," he said. "Now she's baby-obsessed, and she loves kids now. She says she sees Little Me's running around."
Craig said he and Naomie will probably start growing their family in about five years, and they're hoping to have four kids. They even have their names already picked out: Seven, Exit, Dash, and Penelope.
However, Craig and Naomie aren't in any hurry to procreate. "We just travel too much right now. We're having a blast. We're given an opportunity where we don't have to have day jobs at the moment. And we're just trying to see the world," Craig explained. "Then once we do everything that we want to do, then it'll be fun to bring someone else into the game to show everything to."
And we're pretty sure Craig and Naomie's kids are going to look downright adorable. That's because that's exactly how Craig looked when he was a youngster, which you can see for yourself, below.
