Here's Where Dorinda Medley and Bethenny Frankel's Relationship Stands Today
The update comes weeks after Dorinda announced her departure from RHONY.
In case you were wondering, Dorinda Medley remains close friends with Bethenny Frankel. In fact, the two ladies recently got together to hang out by the water. Bethenny captioned the sweet moment, taken weeks after Dorinda exited RHONY, "In the wake of [Dorinda Medley’s] departure… the old guard."
Dorinda confirmed her departure from The Real Housewives of New York City last month after six seasons on the cast. Dorinda's exit from RHONY came one year after Bethenny announced her departure from the show.
"What a journey this has been. I have laughed and cried and tried to Make it Nice... But all things must come to an end. This was a great outlet for me to heal when my late husband Richard passed away. I have met so many interesting people and learned so much about myself, about life and about women along the way," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Thank you to Bravo and NBC for the incredible ride and to my cast mates for constant stimulation and entertainment. I wish you all health, happiness and success. Clip! Dorinda."
Previusly Bethenny commented on the departure, sharing, "You will be missed. Let the next chapter begin."
As for what's next for Dorinda, it was confirmed in the RHONY Season 12 finale that she working on a new book. "Known for her advice (solicited or otherwise) Dorinda will make it available to all with her new book, 'Making it Nice, Making it Through,'" the update read in the finale episode. "She won't be wearing Jovani on the cover."
