Things Got Even More Fiery for Rhylee Gerber and Tyler Rowland After Below Deck Season 6

Rhylee Gerber and Tyler Rowland gave us some of the steamiest Below Deck moments ever in Season 6. But as the charter season came to a close, the possibility of the deckhands pursuing any sort of relationship seemed unlikely given Tyler's preference for keeping things casual — or so we thought.

When The Daily Dish caught up with Rhylee in New York City on December 16, she revealed that Tyler kept their romance alive once they got back on land, at least on social media. "He was very adamant about pretending with his following on social media that we were still together," Rhylee claimed. "He used to post a lot of photos and allude to that, which I didn't say anything here or there to it."

Tyler eventually started a new relationship with someone else, which he made Instagram official this fall. Rhylee said she was "happy for him" and said as much when he and his new girlfriend allegedly video messaged the deckhand asking for her "blessing."

"I was like, 'You have it! Go for it! Good for you!' And then I saw Tyler a couple days later like a mean comment about me on Twitter," Rhylee said. "So I sent him a message. I was like, 'What the f--k is this about?' Be authentic. If you don't like me, you don't like me. If you do, whatever. We can be friends. We can do whatever. And then ever since I sent him that message, he turned into such a prick."

Rhylee said that she and Tyler haven't talked since then. "Bottom line, Tyler's an idiot. And no, we don't keep in contact anymore," she confirmed. "He was a good lay, but he's an idiot."

Not much has happened in the romance department for Rhylee this season of Below Deck, and she offered this up as an explanation during her appearance on the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show on December 16: "Well, I think I intimidate most men."

"But you've had like three boyfriends since we left Thailand," her fellow WWHL guest Kate Chastain pointed out during the After Show, to which Rhylee replied, "That's true."

In fact, Rhylee's love life since Season 7 of Below Deck ended has been a bit of a "whirlwind," she told The Daily Dish. "I actually drove south from Alaska, middle of f--king winter because I started dating somebody, and we were actually gonna go into business together," she shared. "And like 2,500 miles into my road trip, I was ghosted. Yeah, I've never been ghosted before. It's not a good feeling."

Rhylee eventually got over that guy and is now seeing someone else. "Now I'm newly talking to somebody," she said. "He's very nice. He's here in New York visiting with me, but we'll see how it goes."

Rhylee didn't give any more details about this new special someone, but she is pictured with a gentleman in a post featuring several photos from her appearance on WWHL.

It also looks like she had a lovely day with a companion in Sedona, Arizona recently.

One thing we know about Rhylee's mystery man is that he's not a Below Deck fan, which is just fine by her. "He hasn't seen the show, so we've got to keep it that way. I just pray that anybody that is interested in me either watches the show with me so I can pause and be like, 'OK, this is why this is happening,'" Rhylee said. "Don't form an opinion based on a reality show!"
