Joe Gorga Has Been "Pushing" Teresa Giudice to Divorce Joe
At the RHONJ Season 10 reunion, Teresa offered an update on her separation.
While Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice confirmed they are separated after 20 years of marriage, The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple has yet to make any formal plans to divorce. Though, there is one person who is adamant that they move forward with it.
“I’ve been talking to her and pushing her, like, ‘When are you getting a divorce? Sign the papers!’ What are you waiting for? I’m the one calling her and pushing her,” Joe Gorga said during Part 3 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10 reunion.
While Teresa seemed fairly certain that her estranged husband wouldn't want anything from her financially should they divorce, her BFF Dolores Catania expressed a different opinion.
“Say you meet the perfect guy tomorrow and things go well and you're moving on with your life. He’s going to get angry. That’ll trigger it," she said.
Teresa did share with Andy Cohen and the group that "we're working on them," referring to divorce papers, but added, "It seems like [Joe is] procrastinating.”
Her brother added, “You have to move it.”
As for what she might do after their marriage ends, whenever that should happen, she commented on plans to potentially change her last name.
"No [I won't go back to Gorga]. I want to take whoever I marry, their name," she said.
