Ben Robinson Mainly Keeps in Touch with Below Deck Crew Members from This "Most Special" Season

Here's why some Below Deck alums are difficult to pin down, according to Kate Chastain.

Crew members spanning all seven seasons of Below Deck reunited on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this month in honor of the series' 100th episode. However, that wasn't the first time many of them had spoken since they disembarked their respective yachts.

The camaraderie among the Below Deck crew members — past and present — has continued long after the charter season has ended, especially for Kate Chastain, who, after six seasons as chief stew so far, has a lot of yachties to keep in touch with. "In touch with pretty much everyone," Kate told The Daily Dish prior to the Below Deck 100th episode celebration (clip above). "And it's difficult because we all live in different countries, different time zones, some of us are out at sea, some of us are not. But I've tried to keep in touch as much as possible."

Perhaps that's why Ben Robinson has mainly stayed in touch with his crew members from his first couple of seasons on the show. "I'm in touch with really a lot of the old crew from Season 1. I feel like that was probably the most special season. Obviously, Season 2 as well," he told The Daily Dish before adding, "I feel like we're all kind of loosely connected in our own little way. We kind of pop up on social media, and it's nice to say hi."

Seasons 1 and 3 deckhand David Bradberry actually struck up a friendship with a yachtie he never worked with. "Kelley [Johnson] and I weren't on any season together, but immediately after his first season, I reached out to him and I was like, 'Bro, what's going on?'" he said during an interview with The Daily Dish prior to his WWHL appearance. "And we became fast friends."

Eddie Lucas, who said he still keeps in touch with "a lot" of his former crew members, including Kate, Ben, David, Kelley, and Captain Lee Rosbach, is glad so many of these relationships have continued past his time on Below Deck. "I made great friends on that show, and so some of it has carried on into the private life," he shared with The Daily Dish. "So it's been nice."
