Below Deck Mediterranean's Bobby Giancola hit it off with Jax Taylor a couple of months ago, but that wasn't his first encounter with the Vanderpump Rules crew. Bobby went to high school in Melbourne, Florida with Ariana Madix.

Yes, Bobby and Ariana have been pals for many years — 17, to be exact, according to this Instagram post from Ariana.

Bobby and Ariana also reminisced about their time in Melbourne during an installment of the SURver's podcast The Bevs.

And the two still do a lot of hanging out together in the present.

Such a great #thanksgiving weekend with amazing friends!
