Ashley Darby Reveals How Becoming a Mom Has Changed Her
The RHOP mom just shared the sweetest photos of her son, Dean.
Ashley Darby is opening up about one of her favorite experiences as a mom: snow days with her son, Dean.
On February 2, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member took to Instagram to share a glimpse at the wintry fun she recently enjoyed with her family. The mom shared an adorable clip and several sweet photos of her one-year-old son sledding and playing with a friend in the aftermath of a snowstorm.
“I lost my love for snow when I entered adulthood, but becoming a mom changed that!” Ashley wrote in the caption alongside the series of pictures. “Waking up and seeing the snow, then watching these little humans experience all of the cold wonder, has been such a treat!”
The RHOP mom, who will welcome her second child later this month, also shared another photo of Dean happily building a snowman. "Do you wanna build a snowman?” she wrote in the caption, also adding a hashtag that reads “DC Snow Day.”
Snow days are just one of the many experiences that Ashley can look forward to sharing with her growing family. After first announcing their pregnancy back in September, the soon-to-be mom of two and husband Michael Darby later confirmed that they’re expecting a baby boy.
Ashley recently celebrated the upcoming arrival of her little bundle of joy on Instagram. “Less than a month until this little human comes into our lives,” she captioned a photo showcasing her baby bump. “Being a mother is the most rewarding experience I could’ve ever imagined. I am just as excited, anxious, and happy with this little guy as I was with Dean. How can the heart hold this much love?”
