Ashley Jacobs Comments on Being "Dubbed the Villain" on Southern Charm
The SoCal nurse returned to Southern Charm for Season 6 and was welcomed with drama.
In a shocking turn of events, Ashley Jacobs attempted to insert herself back into the Southern Charm crew this season —and as you might imagine, her appearance at Eliza Limehouse's event was not met with a warm welcome. Now, the California nurse is opening up a bit more about her decision to try and reunite with the group during Season 6.
"For me to be dubbed the villain, it hurt," Ashley shared in a recent interview with ET. "I started to think, you know, where did I go wrong, and what could I have done differently? I can certainly be blunt, and I can certainly… I have a sharp tongue, and I know how that can be misconstrued."
She then reflected on some of her previous comments, namely ones she said to Kathryn Dennis. "I did say some hurtful things. My No. 1 regret is saying those things to Kathryn. My regret is not keeping my mouth shut. My regret is letting my feelings get the best of me, and reacting without thinking. Sitting on those feelings. My regret is saying those things in front of a large group, not pulling her aside and talking to her, and explaining my feelings," Ashley told ET. "I might have felt that way, but that wasn't -- that wasn't the time or place. That wasn't the way to do it."
These days, Ashley, who has since moved back to California, looks back on the sequence of events as such: "I know that I made some mistakes, I said some hurtful things, and I had to pay the price, I'm still paying the price in a lot of ways. It was a good life lesson for me."
Below, the cast spills even more about encountering Ashley this season during the Southern Charm Season 6 After Show.
