See What Has Below Deck Adventure’s Captain Kerry Titheradge Freaking Out
The crew is facing a potential emergency in this tense sneak peek.
The Below Deck Adventure crew has their work cut out for them on the upcoming episode.
In this sneak peek clip, they’re attempting to dock in Alesund, Norway, but before they can, Captain Kerry Titheradge realizes something is wrong. “I lost full control,” he says into his walkie-talkie. “I think the engine is stuck astern.”
To make matters worse, the superyacht is now less than 25 feet from the dock. Captain Kerry acts quickly, though, telling the crew, “We have an engine failure! I’ve lost starboard engine. Can I please have a free deckhand on the bow please? Run!”
Providing further insight into the mechanical issue in an episode interview, Captain Kerry says, “Without the engines, I no longer have control. I’m relying on my deck crew to get those lines across.”
So Nathan Morley and Kyle Dickard immediately get to work. The first few tosses are successful, but when one of Nathan’s ropes falls into the water, Kyle is forced to step in — much to Nathan’s frustration. He tells his fellow deckhand, “You could’ve just let me do it. Don’t rush me.”
“It is a rush, bro,” Kyle responds. “We don’t have an engine.”
“You just don’t get it,” Kyle says in an interview. “When you lose engines, it becomes an emergency really quick.”
Will the Below Deck Adventure crew be able to prevent an emergency? Tune in to find out.
