A Crew Member May Be Quitting Below Deck Adventure Season 1
Captain Kerry Titheradge is forced to have a sit-down in a sneak peek of January 31’s all-new episode.
Below Deck Adventure’s chef Jessica Condy may be jumping ship based on this sneak peek of Tuesday, January 31’s all-new episode.
In the preview, she has a sit-down with Captain Kerry Titheradge, who explains that he’s disappointed with how she treats her fellow crew members. “We are in control of our own feelings. We are in control over how we express ourselves,” he tells her after she says “everything came to a boiling point” for her recently. “It’s got to stop. The girls can’t be walking out feeling like they’re walking on eggshells because it f--ks their job and it’s a big spiral.”
Moving forward, Captain Kerry says he doesn’t want to hear “any negativity” in the galley. “You know, it’s bordering on intimidation what you’re doing down there,” he adds. “I’m not going to accept it. The way you talk to the other staff is not acceptable. People are scared to go in the galley.”
Captain Kerry further elaborates on his issues with Jessica in a confessional, explaining, “She’s at her worst when she’s needed the most.”
When it comes time for Jessica to respond, she doesn’t object to anything Captain Kerry has said. Instead, she suggests her time aboard may need to be cut short. “Maybe I’ve come to the end of my yachting experience, because this sure as hell doesn’t bring me joy anymore,” she says. “And my rule is, if it’s not a ‘f--k yes,’ it’s a ‘hell no.’ If it doesn’t bring you joy, don’t do it anymore.”
“It’s made it very apparent to me that this is not where I need to be,” she concludes.
