Does Captain Kerry Think Kyle Deserved a Second Chance Before Being Fired?

The Below Deck Adventure captain also shared his thoughts on chef Jessica’s hair debacle and Oriana’s ordering her own epaulets.

Captain Kerry Titheradge was challenged to a game of “1, 2, Agree or Disagree?” during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, January 18.

Playing alongside fellow WWHL guest Brad Goreski, the two were presented with several prompts about Below Deck Adventure Season 1, including one that referenced Kyle Dickard’s dismissal. As fans may recall, the deckhand was given the option to resign after numerous displays of bad behavior. Ultimately, he indeed opted to leave the boat.

So, Andy presented the following “1, 2, Agree or Disagree?” statement: “Kyle deserved a second chance and shouldn’t have been fired so early.”

Captain Kerry’s response? Disagree — “strongly,” as Andy put it. Brad also held up his “disagree” sign.

As the game continued, Captain Kerry and Brad were asked about chef Jessica Condy getting “annoyed” by guests’ food requests and her recent hair scandal. ICYMI, a hair was found on a guest’s plate, and instead of removing it and replating the meal, Jessica simply removed the hair and sent the dish right back. Andy asked Captain Kerry and Brad if the decision was “an unforgivable offense,” and they both agreed.

Oriana Schneps’ ordering her own uniform epaulets — a move that she insisted was the result of a misunderstanding — also came up during the game. Captain Kerry backed the stew’s assertion, while Brad agreed that “there was no communication issue with the epaulets and Oriana knew exactly what she was doing.”

Hear more on the matter from Oriana herself in The Daily Dish’s exclusive interview. You can also watch Captain Kerry play another WWHL game, during which he reveals how he would handle situations faced by his fellow Below Deck bosses.

Watch Below Deck Adventure on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.
