Katie Glaser Reveals the Status of Her Boatmance with Ross McHarg

Consider this boatmance to be shipwrecked.

On Season 10 of Below Deck, deckhand Katie Glaser and Bosun Ross McHarg have had a rocky — to say the least — romance on board St. David.

While the two have grown closer to one another as they've been working together and living in tight quarters on the superyacht, Katie's frustrations with Ross have also grown as she's seen his behavior on the crew nights out (which tends to include heavy flirtation with second stew Alissa Humber).

Though fans will have to keep tuning in to find out if Ross and Katie conclude the Saint Lucia charter season in a good place, the deckhand confirmed that she's no longer dating the Bosun during a chat with E! News.

"We both live on opposite sides of the world — he went his way after the show and I went mine. At the end of the day we decided that it was what it was on the boat and after the boat we both went our separate ways," Katie, who resides in Florida, explained about what happened with the Asia-based Bosun after filming.

While distance was a major factor in their decision to cut ties after the show, Katie also shared that Ross's interactions with Alissa took a toll on their connection as well. She said that the Brit "didn't like" when she would bring up the fact that he was "flirting with Alissa" in front of her.

"I would never tolerate that in my normal life..." she added. "I feel like, with him, you have to keep hitting [him] over the head until he listens."

Since her boat relationship with Ross concluded, Katie said that she has been "enjoying life right now" as a single lady. 

When she appeared on the January 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen alongside former Below Deck chief stew Kate Chastain, the ladies played a game of "Shag Roulette" involving options exclusively from the Below Deck universe.
