Meet Below Deck Med's New Chief Stew for Season 6 Katie Flood
Below Deck Mediterranean will welcome a new head of the interior when it returns this summer.
Below Deck Mediterranean is back this summer — and with several new faces.
Notably, the mega yacht Lady Michelle will have a new chief stew in Season 6, Katie Flood. Originally from New Zealand, Katie has a passion for travel and adventure, according to her bio on BravoTV.com. So it's no wonder she got into the yachting industry.
Katie has worked on both charter and private yachts over the past six-plus years, so she's used to dealing with the demands of charter guests, no matter how outrageous the request. With drama among the crew and tears already teased for the upcoming season, as you can see in the above trailer, life aboard the Lady Michelle will not be a pleasure cruise for Katie. But with "her non-traditional attitude, attention to detail and unparalleled work ethic," according to a press release for the upcoming season, Katie will be ready to tackle all of the challenges that come her way this charter season, even if she has to "make tough decisions that could impact the entire boat" along the way.
In addition to Katie, Below Deck Med Season 6 will feature a whole new crew of yachties, including chef Mathew Shea, stews Lexi Wilson and Courtney Veale, and deckhands David Pascoe, Lloyd Spencer, and Mzi "Zee" Dempers. Malia White will also be back as bosun, along with Captain Sandy Yawn leading the crew.
Get your first look at the new season in the official trailer, above. Be sure to tune in to the Below Deck Med Season 6 premiere on Monday, June 28 at 9/8c on Bravo. And you can watch every episode a week early on Peacock starting Monday, June 21.
