Kasey Cohen Doesn't See a Friendship with Brooke Laughton "As Long As João Is Part of the Picture"

Trying to win the heart of the same guy really has a way of breaking up a friendship, doesn't it? That seemed to be exactly what happened to Brooke Laughton and Kasey Cohen this season of Below Deck Mediterranean. The stewardesses were getting along just fine until they both expressed feelings for João Franco. When João ultimately decided to pursue a relationship with Brooke but appeared to continue to flirt with Kasey, well, let's just say there was nothing but rough waters ahead for the trio. 

Unfortunately, things haven't gotten much better between Kasey and Brooke since the charter season ended. "The only one, unfortunately, is Brooke that we do not really keep in contact," Kasey told The Daily Dish when asked whom she still talks to from this season prior to the taping of the Below Deck Med Season 3 reunion (clip above). "We're civil with each other, but unfortunately the friendship just didn't continue after the show ended."

Kasey went on to say that she believes they still haven't been able to move forward because of the so-called love triangle with João this season of Below Deck Med. "As much as you can try to keep it and try and fix [the friendship] and whatnot, as long as, I guess, João is part of the picture, it just won't be [repaired], and that's OK," she said. 

Brooke played it a bit more coy with us when we asked her who she keeps in touch with from this season of Below Deck Med prior to the filming of the reunion, saying she still talks to "pretty much everyone" but "some more than others." We'll just let you guess what she means by that.
