Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Jenna MacGillivray Is Blowing Our Minds with This Fact About the Boat
The chief stew clears up a major misconception about what we see on TV.
It may look like Jenna MacGillivray is spending all her time hanging out with Adam Glick in the galley this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but the chief stew is here to clear some things up about what we're seeing on TV.
When Jenna appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, February 24, Andy Cohen asked her the "number one" question he's gotten from fans about the chief stew: "Why are you so focused on Adam and not being a good chief to your crew? It seems like you would want to encourage them rather than be rude and degrading."
Jenna told Andy that she's "gotten that a lot" from viewers. She then explained that she actually is doing her work when it seems like she's just spending all her time with Adam in the galley this season. "When I am working in the pantry, the stew pantry, it's also the galley, so it seems like I'm with Adam all the time," Jenna explained. "But I'm in the stew pantry as well."
The WWHL audience was a bit split on whether Jenna and Adam would make a good couple in one of the polls during the night. But Jenna's fellow WWHL guest Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi gave them her blessing. "He's hot," GG said of Adam. "I'd want to be with him all the time."
Jenna added, "Give a girl a break!"
It sounds like the chief stew has been getting a lot of flack for flirting with Adam on the job. "Believe it or not, a woman in charge can be both good at her job, and have a love interest. If a woman is flirting at work, suddenly her capabilities as a boss are in question?" Jenna clapped back at fans on Twitter on February 20. "Last time I checked, the majority of the world have jobs, and a partner. Go figure."
Adam shares some very real concerns about a potential romance with Jenna in an all-new episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Monday, March 2 at 9/8c. Watch a preview, below.
