While sharing an update on her first couple of weeks as a mom during an Instagram chat with Daisy Kelliher and Alli Dore posted on June 8, Dani said, "Well, I'm gonna announce the name on 'Pita Party,' because why not?"

Dani then uttered her baby girl's name publicly for the first time when she shared that "some friends came over to see Lilly," although she did not confirm the spelling of her daughter's name.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht stew first confirmed that she was expecting her first child in April, later revealing that she would be welcoming a baby girl. Dani announced her daughter's arrival in a post on Instagram on May 29 that gave her followers a glimpse at her little girl's precious little hand. "She is here. She is perfect. And we trying to figure this thing out," Dani wrote in the post. "We both healthy and happy. Thank you for all the support. Will post more once mummy had some rest."

She officially introduced her daughter to the world with the first photo of her baby girl in an Instagram post marking that Lilly was one week old on June 3. "Let me introduce you to baby Soares. This pic is a perfect representation of what the first week has been for both of us," Dani playfully captioned a snap of her newborn crying.

Dani kicked off the latest "Pita Party" conversation with her fellow Parsifal III stews by sharing that she was currently breastfeeding Lilly while talking to Daisy and Alli. "It's one way that I know she'll be quiet and she'll have a little nap after, so it's perfect," Dani said.

She went on to say that, so far, taking care of her little one has been "really hard." "It's getting better. I'm learning," Dani shared. "Managing to feed her properly was my biggest worry in the beginning, and now I'm managing to do it all right."

Hopefully, Dani will soon be able to get some advice from fellow Sydney-based Below Deck mom Hannah Ferrier, from whom she said she is expecting a visit next week. But so far, Dani said that she has "left the house once" since giving birth, and she has had some help from her roommate, who "brings me groceries when I need."

Lilly has already developed "her own kind of routine" as well, according to Dani. "There is a part of the afternoon that she sleeps longer, and that's when I sleep as well. So my friends would have to come over earlier in the day. So it's like, oh, if you want to come over, come earlier in the day because then at five or six, she's showering and breastfeeding and going to bed and blah, blah, blah," Dani explained. "So it's a bit complicated, you know? And now, people have also had to have the vaccine to come and see her because she doesn't have immunity and stuff."

It sounds like Dani has also mastered the art of multitasking. "I got a little bit of help. Like, today I managed to shower with her in the bathroom with me on her little bouncer [laughs]," she said.

This is a far cry from her first week of motherhood, which Dani said "was not a great moment for me," recalling, "It was terrible."

But now, things are improving for Dani. "It's getting better," she said. "I'm learning how to do things around her and while holding her and all that."

Dani opens up more about her road to motherhood in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider.
