Gary King's Latest Photo with Daisy Kelliher Has Us Wondering What's *Really* Going on with the Yachties
Below Deck Sailing Yacht's first mate wrote something very intriguing about the chief stew on Instagram.
Gary King just gave us another reason to continue shipping him and Daisy Kelliher.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht first mate shared a very intriguing Instagram post on June 12. The pic shows a smiling Gary and Daisy posing in front of the camera during the charter season in Menorca, Spain.
And while the photo is absolutely lovely, it's the caption that really raised our eyebrows. The post includes a hashtag for "Gaisy" — that's Gary and Daisy combined, of course. Here, it looks like the first mate is giving us an idea of what his and Daisy's couple name would be if they were to actually start dating.
After frequently butting heads in Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy and Gary gave fans something to talk about when they had a steamy hot tub makeout session in the current Season 3. That, coupled with some photos of the pair out and about together in Los Angeles in February, had viewers wondering if the yachties were more than just crewmates.
Daisy and Gary previously confirmed that they are just friends, but that hasn't stopped fans from hoping romance blooms between them someday. Their reunion in London in May, along with an Instagram post from Barnaby Birkbeck calling them a "gorgeous couple" and stating that "love is in the air," only served to fan the flames.
Soon after, Daisy took to Instagram to set the record straight on her current status with Gary. “So I know the rumour mill went into full meltdown at the weekend but we are still not a couple,” she confirmed on Instagram on May 25. “We are just good friends who still fight a lot and then make up.”
She also added the hashtag “still not a couple” in the post.
While "Gaisy" may only live in our hearts for now, Daisy said that she appreciates how much fans want to see her and Gary together. “I’m relieved. I thought everyone was gonna hate me and, like, egg me in the street for hooking up with Gary,” she shared when The Daily Dish caught up with her at the NBCUniversal Upfront in May. “But, you know, I get it. I see the appeal of me and Gary. You know, you’re always rooting for the underdog or the things you didn’t know you wanted. So I’m OK with people kind of shipping us.”
As for whether Daisy and Gary have kissed since that night in the hot tub, the chief stew said, “I don’t kiss and tell.”
In addition to pics with Daisy, Gary often posts photos of some of the other great Below Deck Sailing Yacht duos on Instagram — namely, himself with Colin MacRae and Captain Glenn Shephard, respectively.
And let's not forget about the terrific trio that is Gary, Daisy, and Colin — or "Daisy and her boys," as the first mate put it in a hashtag on Instagram.
