On the April 24 episode of Below Deck Sailing YachtAmerican Idol alum Justin Guarini visited Parsifal III for a picturesque Corsica vacation.

As Captain Glenn Shephard confirmed during the preference sheet meeting for Charter No. 2, Justin is one of the "longtime friends" of primary guest Kim.

In case you need a refresher, Justin competed on the debut season of American Idol in 2002, and he placed second to winner Kelly Clarkson. Following his time on the singing competition, he starred alongside Kelly in the musical romantic comedy, From Justin to Kelly, and he released two albums and an EP.

He's also appeared on Broadway, in shows like Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, American Idiot, Romeo and Juliet, and Wicked, and he's next set to star in the upcoming Broadway adaptation of Once Upon a One More Time. Justin is known for playing 'Lil Sweet in advertisements for Diet Dr. Pepper as well.

On the show, after Justin and the other guests arrived to Parsifal III, the American Idol runner-up soon made his mark on the boat by spilling a drink on the staircase and by saying that Chef Ileisha Dell's cooking was "out of this world."

Justin was also present for a Below Deck Sailing Yacht first. Ahead of the first dinner on the boat, Kim and her husband, Ian, asked if the crew would be able to eat dinner with the guests.

Captain Glenn admitted that the request was something he had "never done" before, but Chef Ileisha said that she could indeed execute a family-style dinner. Chief engineer Colin MacRae told the guests about how special the request was.

"I don't know if you guys realize this or not, but this is absolutely not normal," Colin added during the dinner. "This will be my 14th, 15th year on a superyacht, and in all of that time, I've never been invited to eat with the guests. So, thank you guys for just treating us with so much respect."
