"Even for yachties, it was a lot," Daisy Kelliher teased of the new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
The Parsifal III crew definitely seems to be feeling the love in the upcoming Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which premieres with a supersized episode on Monday, March 1 at 9/8c. The above trailer for the new season is filled with shots of yachties sharing smooches.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht's new chief stew Daisy Kelliher confirmed that there are indeed hookups on the horizon in the upcoming season during an Instagram Live chat with Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 crew member Anastasia Surmava on February 22.
"There was definitely a lot of sex. I don't know if it was COVID, I don't know if it was people hadn't been around other people in a while, I don't know what was going on, but there was definitely something in the air," Daisy teased of the new season. "I was like, 'Wow, this is a lot.' Even for yachties, it was a lot."
Daisy added of the new season, "There was a lot of partying, a lot of sex, a lot of drama, a lot of tears."
We'll have to wait to see exactly what Daisy is talking about when Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres. However, she confirmed what we already knew about Captain Glenn Shephard. "Oh, I love him. Yeah, he's exactly the way he comes across," Daisy said during the chat with Anastasia. "That's the kind of captain I love working for, doesn't micromanage, is there if you need him. Just a really nice, pleasant person to be around, absolutely. We all really, really loved working for him. He was definitely a big part of the team."
Daisy said that she has also had the pleasure of meeting Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1's first mate Paget Berry. "Paget was here, and he reached out. We went for a drink. Yeah, he's so nice. He was like the first person I got to speak to from the Bravo cast," she shared. "That was really cool. So I'm excited for the journey and to meet everyone."
When it comes to Below Deck Sailing Yacht's new crew for Season 2, Daisy admitted that she was "nervous" to meet her stews at first but said that she had "an awesome team." "To be honest, the whole crew was pretty strong," Daisy added. "If you took a bit of the drama out, I thought we were a good team, just kind of crazy personalities."
We can't wait to meet the new Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew when Season 2 premieres on Monday, March 1 at 9/8c. Until then, get to know Daisy a bit better in the below preview of the Season 2 premiere.
