1. Jimmy Kimmel and John Krasinski Launch a Crazy Holiday Tradition

Forget Santa and mistletoe — it’s not the holidays if Jimmy Kimmel and John Krasinski aren’t waging their infamous prank war. For years now, the real-life neighbors have gone to every extreme imaginable to make their respective holidays as annoying as humanly possible. From gift wrapping John’s house to wrapping AND filling Jimmy’s car with baubles and even spreading flyers all around LA advertising a yard sale at John and his wife Emily Blunt’s house, the pranks pulled have been nothing short of epic.
2. Adele Fakes Out Her Impersonators

Leave it to Adele to really commit to and pull off a hilarious—and meta—prank. The singer once put on a disguise to hang out with a bunch of Adele impersonators, donning a fake nose and chin—and saying her name was Jenny. The gaggle of Adele impersonators bought it at first. After all, she even empathized with them over the dwindling demand for, well, Adele impersonators. But when she took to the stage and started singing “Make You Feel My Love”, everyone knew without a doubt that they’d been had by their idol.
3. Amy Schumer Dives Over Kimye
We imagine that it’s rough sharing the red carpet with one of the hottest couples on the planet. And, well, Amy Schumer confirmed that fact while walking the red carpet for the Time 100 ceremony back in April 2015. After Amy realized that all the photographers and reporters were looking right past her to focus in on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the actress took matters into her own hands. She waited for the right moment and pretended to trip and fall to the ground right in front of Kimye. While the world laughed, Amy revealed on The Graham Norton Show that “[Kim and Kanye] didn't crack a smile, which confirms they had no idea who I was, which is a relief.”
4. Nicole Richie Hacks Kim and Khloe Kardashian Where It Hurts
What are friends for if not to embarrass and humiliate you in the most public way possible? If you follow that line of thinking, that makes Nicole Richie the best friend in the world. She took it upon herself to kick pals Khloe and Kim Kardashian right where it hurts — their social media accounts. In 2011, Nicole celebrated April Fools' by hacking into both sisters’ Twitter accounts. Kim was dating Kris Humphries at the time so her feed was clogged with graphic details of their sex life while Khloe’s had graphic descriptions of her body parts.
5. Jon Lovitz and Jessica Lowndes Get Engaged
When you think about the celebrity couples you’re positive you’ll never see linked together in real life, Jessica Lowndes and Jon Lovitz basically top that list. But, the self-deprecating comedian and beautiful singer/actress really did look happy when they made things “Instagram official” and announced they were engaged. They shared intimate snaps in bed and on playful ice cream dates. It looked legit. But alas, it was all an elaborate set up to promote Jessica’s video for her single “Déjà vu” that co-starred, yep, Jon Lovitz.
6. Justin Bieber Makes Taylor Swift 'Ruin' a Wedding
In 2012, Justin Bieber took over where Ashton Kutcher left off and rebooted the MTV classic prank show Punk’d. In the memorable premiere, Justin convinced Taylor Swift to set off a firecracker — over water. Innocent enough, right? Well, that was until the Biebs made Taylor believe that she launched it a little too far and set a boat — with a wedding aboard — on fire! Taylor was reduced to tears — and (we assume) traumatized for life.
7. Daniel Radcliffe Stumps the Paparazzi with His Wardrobe
When you’re starring in one of the biggest movie franchises in the world and become one of the most recognizable stars in the world, seemingly overnight, it’s got to be a shock when the paparazzi is suddenly in your face 24/7. But, during the height of Harry Potter mania, Daniel Radcliffe figured out a genius prank to get the paps off his case. He started wearing the same thing every day — for five months straight. The confused paparazzi groaned and didn’t know what to make of it, but it worked and they backed off.
8. Sarah Silverman Pretends She’s 'F***ing' Matt Damon
Legend has it that the war between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon started after Jimmy signed off a show that he didn’t feel had particularly A-list guests by saying, “My apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time.” Jimmy has ended his show with that line ever since. But, things really escalated when Jimmy’s then girlfriend Sarah Silverman made Jimmy think that she was cheating on him and “f***ing” the one and only Matt Damon. The epic video of Sarah and Matt confessing their “sin” has been viewed on YouTube over 17 million times.
9. Justin Timberlake Loses His Cool — and His House

To be honest, Ashton Kutcher’s very first episode of Punk’d could have easily been his last, because topping his epic prank on Justin Timberlake was near impossible. In the infamous hoax, Ashton made JT think that he owed $900,000 in back taxes, and faux US agents (one was played to perfection by sidekick Dax Shepard) seized his house and confiscated, well, everything. Understandably so, JT flipped out and cried. It was heartbreaking and hilarious all at once.
10. George Clooney and Brad Pitt Pull a Prank Marathon on Each Other
George Clooney and Brad Pitt are known for being suave, handsome and the ultimate pranksters, especially to each other. Highlights? Well, Brad really triggered things on the Italian set of Ocean’s Twelve. He sent out a memo to the crew saying that George only wanted to be called "Danny Ocean" and no eye contact could be made. The Italian press even reported this crazy request. So, George put bumper stickers on Brad’s car that said things like, "I'm Gay and I Vote" and "Small Penis on Board.” But that’s not all: George upped the ante even more in 2005 by making the press think he was throwing a wedding for Brad and Angelina Jolie (years before they did get married and then eventually divorced) at his home in Lake Como, Italy. He even placed high-top tables on his lawn so helicopters could see. Not one to give up so fast, George kept the charade going for two whole weeks.
