Dorinda Medley Has a Bittersweet Reaction to Bethenny Frankel's RHONY Departure
The Real Housewives of New York City mom is one of many Bravo stars showing support for Bethenny.
Bethenny Frankel has been receiving a lot of love since confirming that she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City after Season 11, including from her fellow New York Housewife Dorinda Medley.
Dorinda commented on Bethenny's emotional Instagram post announcing her departure from the series on August 21. “Happy for you sad for the group x,” Dorinda shared.
Dorinda was just one of many New York Housewives, Bravolebs from other shows, and fans who sent her best wishes to Bethenny in the comments to that Instagram post, as you can see in the below screenshot.
Bethenny has been a part of the RHONY family since the series' very first season back in 2008. She decided to take a break from the show after Season 3 and later returned to hang with the Housewives in Season 7, which was also Dorinda's first season on the show.
Bethenny reflected on how far she has come since she first began her journey on RHONY in her post on Instagram, starting as a "broke, single" woman in her late 30s living in a "tiny apartment" to becoming a major business mogul and philanthropist with her beautiful 9-year-old daughter, Bryn, and boyfriend Paul. "I am fortunate to have created a business and career that some people only dream of. I had a beautiful baby girl who is now 9 years old, and she has changed me as a human being," Bethenny wrote. "I was able to give back and help people all over the world who have been hit with the worst of unforeseen circumstances, which we will all continue together."
The RHONY entrepreneur ended her note by showing gratitude to all of the fans who have been there for her along the way and teasing that she's just getting started. "Thank you so much for your love and support. And stay tuned, you haven’t seen the last of me. There are many amazing things to come," she said. "I love you all and am so lucky to have you in my life!"
