Bethenny Frankel Is Bringing a Major Celebrity to Help Puerto Rico

After Hurricane Harvey hit Houston last August, Bethenny Frankel immediately started mobilizing to help provide relief to those affected by the natural disaster through her B Strong charity organization. The Real Housewives of New York City mogul later did the same for Mexico after a deadly earthquake hit the country, as well as Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria last fall, literally chartering planes to fly in supplies to help those impacted by the storms.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Bethenny was recognized for her work in providing disaster relief by the nonprofit Delivering Good at their annual gala, which was featured in the Season 10 premiere of RHONY Wednesday night. But the job is far from done. Bethenny shared that she will soon be returning to Puerto Rico to continue her disaster relief efforts there. "I am headed back to Puerto Rico for my 5th mission in two weeks," Bethenny tweeted Wednesday.

Bethenny thanked Tinsley Mortimer and Ramona Singer "for helping me begin an unprecedented relief effort" on Twitter. "When I started with Houston, Tinsley fell in first, and getting her $10,000 was like, 'Oh my God, we're real.' I mean, it really did make a difference," Bethenny said during the RHONY Season 10 premiere. "And then Ramona donated $3,000, which was a really big deal."

Bethenny also tweeted that she received donations from several of the other RHONY ladies, too. "Yes, most of the other women donated & @CaroleRadziwill matched her marathon raise & donated. This was the very beginning," she shared on Twitter. "I am grateful to all!"

Even Housewives from across the country have joined in on Bethenny's disaster relief efforts. Bethenny shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last October that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Rinna has also donated to the cause (clip below). Bethenny shared on Twitter in October 2017 that the initiative has raised "well over a million in planes, cash & donations."
