Tinsley Mortimer Calls Bethenny Frankel a "Legend" Following Her RHONY Exit
The Big Apple socialite has nothing but love for Bethenny Frankel after she announced her RHONY exit.
Tinsley Mortimer has declared Bethenny Frankel a "legend" in the wake of the news that The Real Housewives of New York City mogul is exiting the show. In a statement released following the news of Bethenny's departure from RHONY, Tinsley noted that she's "very sad" about it.
"She was a great mentor and friend, and I will miss working with her. I’m very thankful Bravo gave me the opportunity to work with such a legend, and I wish her the very best in the next successful chapter of her life," Tinsley said in a statement to ET.
Tinsley and Bethenny appeared on RHONY together for the last three seasons after Tinsley joined the show during Season 9.
Bethenny opened up about her departure in an emotional Instagram post, in which she reflected on her experience sharing her life with the world. She wrote, "I am so grateful to you for sticking with me through everything. You started this journey with me in my tiny apartment in my late 30s, wondering what would happen to me. I was broke, single, had no family and no idea what the future held.”
Later in the message, she added, “I am fortunate to have created a business and career that some people only dream of. I had a beautiful baby girl who is now 9 years old, and she has changed me as a human being. I was able to give back and help people all over the world who have been hit with the worst of unforeseen circumstances, which we will all continue together... Thank you so much for your love and support. And stay tuned, you haven’t seen the last of me. There are many amazing things to come. I love you all and am so lucky to have you in my life! PS: New York City is still my playground.”
