Ciara shared her hopes for the future in honor of Black History Month. "I have hope that meaningful progress can be made as long as we are taking steps to be realistic with ourselves in every situation," Ciara shared in the Instagram message posted. "I think as long as we are continuing to learn and educate ourselves, and really making that a part of our education, I think meaningful progress can be made."

(In the video at the top of the post, Ciara, as well as The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss and The Real Housewives of Miami's Guerdy Abraira, go into more detail on the importance of Black History Month. You can hear what they have to share, above.)

Karen mirrored that sentiment, adding, "In order for social justice to move forward, I truly believe that it's going to take a mighty love to stomp out the hatred that is embedded systematically in our culture. We can't take our foot off the gas. We have to dismantle this hatred, this injustice from the ground floor to the top of the mountain."

Dr. Heavenly, who noted on Instagram that "Black History is American History," reflected on her own experiences and shared how she hopes it can empower others. "I want my legacy to be a person that people remember that came from nothing and was able to accomplish much," she said. "And if I can do it as a Black female, any Black female can do it."
