Guerdy Abraira
Born in Haiti, Guerdy Abraira moved to Paris with her family when she was a baby. At 9 years old, her parents decided to move to Miami where Guerdy went to secondary school and college. She quickly fell in love with the art of hosting and event planning and made this her career.
Living and traveling around the world has expanded Guerdy’s palette of various global cultures. Outspoken and energetic, she points out her Haitian heritage mixed with a Parisian hometown flare as the basis for her work ethic. Guerdy’s hard work paying off is evidenced by her many accolades, including being named one of Harper’s Bazaar’s Top Planners in the World as well as making the coveted list of Vogue’s Best Wedding Planners in the U.S., Canada, and Overseas. The event producer is branching out into many new arenas, such as modeling, where she has graced more than three magazine covers, as well becoming a global ambassador for notable fashion brands. She also launched a masterclass while selling merchandise featuring her now famous “Oh, hi green!” catchphrase. Guerdy resides in Florida with her two boys and her longtime husband of 20 years, Russell, who was her high school sweetheart.
