Following Luke Perry's death earlier this month, celebrities and folks from all walks of life have remembered the Riverdale star and former Beverly Hills, 90210 hearthrob. But little did we know, he has quite a unique connection to Paul Nassif by way of his brother, Chris Nassif. The Botched plastic surgeon and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed all on Twitter, sharing that "my brother, who was the agent of [Luke Perry and] got him his role on Beverly Hills 90210, will be in the new documentary about Luke’s life."
Yes, you read that correctly: Paul's brother had a hand in helping secure the late actor with his most iconic role, Dylan McKay — and now Chris will appear in the special Luke Perry: In His Own Words. According to Us Weekly, Chris noted in the special that the 90's hunk "nailed it" when it came to the audition for the part that would make him a household name.
Shortly after news broke of Perry's death, Chris also remembered the actor in a statement: "Luke will be missed, a friend gone way too soon. It seems like yesterday that I was Luke’s agent negotiating his role on Beverly Hills, 90210. I would like to express my condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
