Cold weather and an abundance of pumpkin spice-flavored snacks are pretty strong indications that fall is here. Which means, it's time to let go of the sundresses and flip-flops for a wardrobe more fitting of the autumnal weather. (It is October.)

So if you're searching for some tips about what you should purchase to keep your closet looking its best this season, we here at The Daily Dish have have tracked down some experts. Below, It's a Brad, Brad World stylist Brad Goreski and designer Jill Stuart reveal their go-to pieces for the season.

"Fringe, number one. Number two, I would say something in like a deep burgundy color, like a wine color," he said. "And, three, I'm feeling a turtleneck. Or a sweater with some texture, like a mohair or something." And for those turtleneck-weary fashionistas out there, Brad has some advice for you."For me [turtlenecks are] like a really good layering piece. I wore one on Watch What Happens Live once and I look back on it now and it might have been a fashion miss, but in the moment I was feeling myself. So I think if the spirit moves you to wear a turtleneck, then just do it. Just remember though it's your face that's being featured so you know you've got to be bringing good face."

Dakota Johnson's flirty take on the wine hue shows that the deep, rich color can be made girly.

For Elle Fanning's dressed-up take on the turtleneck, she keeps it simple — and as Brad says, she's "bringing good face" to the trend.

"I think you should buy a long, maxi dress," Jill said. "I think you should buy a suede mini skirt. And I think you should buy a sequined mini dress."

Padma Lakshmi's maxi dress perfectly displays how feminine the style can be, and how it seamlessly works with fall's boho trend.

Karlie Kloss keeps her suede skirt short, sweet and perfectly on trend.

With so many events in the fall right through the holidays, Selena Gomez's sparkly dress can be dressed up or down for any occassion.
