Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright Step Out at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
The Valley husband and wife attended the prestigious D.C. event after announcing their split.
From The Valley to Capitol Hill.
Less than two months after announcing their separation, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright reunited for one of the biggest nights in journalism: the Annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. The event went down on Saturday, April 27, at the Washington Hilton Hotel, where nearly 3,000 politicians, media figures, and celebrities gathered to celebrate the role of free press.
Jax and Brittany attended the soirée, hosted by Colin Jost, as honored guests of DailyMail.com. Their fellow attendees included Grammy-winning producer Jermaine Dupri; Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph; actress Rosario Dawson; New York Sen. Chuck Schumer; and, of course, President Joe Biden, who delivered a customary joke-filled speech.

Jax spoke about the event just days before landing in Washington, D.C.
“This will definitely be a highlight of my life and an incredible evening,” he exclusively told DailyMail.com.
Brittany — who shares a 3-year-old son, Cruz, with Jax — echoed the sentiment: “I’m honored to have been invited to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner! This will be an unforgettable night and I’m so excited to be attending alongside so many amazing people.”
The estranged couple documented their D.C. trip on social media, where they posted photos and videos of their separate travels, their seafood dinner at Truluck's, and their time at the 31st Annual WHC’s Garden Brunch.
Brittany concluded Night 1 (April 26) with some much-needed rest and alone time: “Hey, y’all. It is 12 o’clock (midnight) and I’m already in bed getting ready for tomorrow,” she said in an Instagram Story filmed from her hotel bed. “So excited about tomorrow! It’s gonna be so fun. It’s only 9 o’clock in L.A. but I’m so tired. It’s so great to have a bed and a room to myself for a night. No toddler feet in my face. This is awesome.”
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor's WHCD Looks
On the night of the dinner, Brittany hit the red carpet (sans Jax) in a black, strapless gown with a corseted bodice. The beautiful design featured ruching detail below the bust and sequins around the dramatic scoop neckline. Brittany completed the look with black sheer opera gloves, silver jewelry, and an elegant down hairstyle with a side part and soft curls.
Jax adhered to the event’s black-tie dress code, as he stepped out in classic leather lace-ups and a black tuxedo by State and Liberty Clothing Co.
Other Bravolebs who've attended the WHCD
But this wasn’t the first time Bravolebrities attended the prestigious D.C. event. In 2023, Vanderpump Rules’ Lisa Vanderpump and Ariana Madix were invited as guests of DailyMail.com, while Lala Kent showed up as a guest of the Los Angeles Times.
“I don’t know what’s more complicated — reality television or politics,” Lisa joked with DailyMail.com ahead of the 2023 dinner. “I guess I’ll find out on Saturday evening. I’m delighted to be attending.”
