Braunwyn Windham-Burke Responds to Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador's Reputations as Being Tough to New Housewives
The RHOC newbie reveals all in an exclusive chat with Bravo Insider.
When there's a new woman trying to find her place in The Real Housewives of Orange County crew, we've noticed there are two ladies in the SoCal squad who don't take too kindly to strangers. Both Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador have a bit of a reputation for being tough on the new members of the group.
When RHOC newbie, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, spoke to Bravo Insider for an exclusive chat about her first season, she shared her take on that hot topic. "I think Vicki’s just now starting to realize that I exist," she told Bravo Insider with a laugh. "Otherwise I think I had a very easy time. From what I’ve seen, I had a pretty easy time as the new girl. I was welcomed pretty quickly by everybody."
And, yes, that does include Shannon, as Braunwyn, who was introduced into the group through her friendship with Kelly Dodd, explained. "The first time I met her, we ended up dancing on a table together at Quiet Woman. The minute I met Shannon... I feel we just got along instantly," the mother of seven explained about that first encounter at the infamous RHOC hangout. "It’s always sort of the joke that she’s not nice to the new girl, and she was. She’s just so nice and inviting and welcoming."
That brings us back to Vicki. And let's just say, her interactions with the RHOC OG have been different. "I joke about the fact, she literally completely ignored me, walked past me, and was flirting with my husband [Sean]," Braunwyn recalled. "And I’m like, alrighty then!"
Stay tuned to hear more from Braunwyn as RHOC's Season 14, which premiered this week, chugs along every Tuesday. Above, Braunwyn shares an exclusive tour of her condo only with Bravo Insider.
