Braunwyn’s Kids Are Off to the “First Day of School After the World’s Longest Summer”
The RHOC mom of seven shared a glimpse of the busy first morning of school at the Windham-Burke household.
Believe it or not, it is officially back-to-school season. Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s children are all set to go back to class, all dressed in their adorable first day outfits, complete with face masks to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The Real Housewives of Orange County mama opened up about the start of the semester in an August 31 Instagram post, in which she posed for the classic first day photos with some of her seven kiddos.
“First day of school after the world’s longest summer,” Braunwyn wrote, adding a series of photos of her children preparing for the new school year. Her 6-year-old twin boys, Cayden and Curren, are kicking off second grade, while little Koa Blue is ready to conquer kindergarten.
In the last photo, it looks like Braunwyn’s youngest is feeling bummed to be seeing her siblings off to school. In response to a follower who commented to ask if Hazel wished she was headed off to school, too, Braunwyn wrote, “Yep :) I’ll send her when it’s more normal.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Margaret Josephs sent some well wishes Braunwyn’s way, writing, “Hope they had a great first day! Hazel is me every day.”
In a May 17 post, Braunwyn reflected on how this year, summer is a lot different than it normally is. She shared a photo of the family on the front steps of their Newport Beach home, writing, “Sundays with the family! I grew up reading Nicholas Sparks books, small, slow paced towns where family came first. I feel like this is what we’ve all come to appreciate.”
