It's based on the bestselling graphic novel The Fifth Beatle.

Bravo has a rocking new project in the works. The network is developing a limited series based on the bestselling graphic novel The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story, Deadline reports.

Written by Vivek J. Tiwary, The Fifth Beatle chronicles the complicated life of Brian Epstein, the legendary manager of The Beatles. While Epstein experienced great success in discovering and then cultivating the career of the Fab Four, he struggled in his personal life as a gay Jewish man in 1960s England where homosexuality was a felony. Epstein was found dead of what has been ruled as an accidental overdose of sleeping pills at his home in London in 1967.

The series adaptation of The Fifth Beatle will be written by Tiwary, who will also serve as executive producer, along with Leopoldo Gout. The series includes Tiwary's access to the John Lennon-Paul McCartney song catalog, making this the first Beatles-related biopic to secure such rights, according to Deadline. The project will be produced by Universal Cable Productions and Sonar Entertainment.

The Beatles (Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Harrison) with Brian Epstein.

This comes after the news that Bravo has greenlit a two-season, straight-to-series order for a scripted anthology series based on the popular true crime podcast Dirty John.

The network's beloved scripted series Imposters will be back for Season 2 on Thursday, April 5 at 10/9c. Get your first look at the new season, below.
