Last Chance Kitchen is Back and These Two Chefs Want to Prove They're "No Flash in the Pan"
Bravo Top Chef's Tom Colicchio is giving these eliminated cheftestants another shot at redemption in Season 18.
Bravo Top Chef's Last Chance Kitchen is back for Season 18(!!) and head judge Tom Colicchio is giving two chefs the opportunity to prove their skills in the kitchen after being eliminated from the competition this season.
In the episode above, the first two chefs eliminated in the Season 18 competition head into the Last Chance Kitchen to cook it out for their shot at redemption.
"Last Chance Kitchen is back. 15 acclaimed chefs from all around the country have come here to Portland to compete for the title of Top Chef. For most, their time in the kitchen will be cut short. But before they pack their knives for good they'll have one last chance to battle it out for a spot back into the competition," Tom explains. "We all love a comeback story."
Later on the clip, Tom tells the cheftetsants looking to cook their way back into the game: "It's definitely true what they say: the first cut cuts the deepest. Obviously there's a group of talented chefs here this season and it could have been anyone. It's that little mistake that gets you sent home, which is why Last Chance Kitchen is so great. One bad day in the kitchen, you get another chance. Hopefully the time for redemption has come -- at least for one of you."
To find out how the cheftestants fared as they cooked using ingredients like nuts, jack fruit, and oysters that have thick and tough skins, check out the Last Chance Kitchen episode, above.
And tune in next week to see what happens next on Last Chance Kitchen.
