Erika Girardi revealed that her stint in Broadway's Chicago is ending a few weeks early after it was confirmed in a New York Post report that Broadway will shut down on March 12 through April 12 in the wake of the coronavirus situation.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer and performer was supposed to perform as Roxie Hart in the famed musical through the end of the month and bid the show a fond farewell in an emotional tweet.

"Well this is not the way I wanted to say goodbye to Roxie and my Chicago family but I have no choice. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone that came to the shows," the woman otherwise known as Erika Jayne wrote. "I leave NYC feeling like my mission is incomplete but I will treasure this time always."

Erika also received love from Bravolebs in the comments section on Instagram after she made the announcement.

Yolanda Hadid wrote, "Oh noooo," with a heart emoji.

Lisa Rinna commented, "YOU DID IT AND YOU KILLED IT!!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!! YOU ARE A TRUE STAR MY FRIEND!!!!"

Gizelle Bryant wrote, "You killed it as long as you could."
