Caroline Manzo Explains if Melissa Gorga Played a Part in Her Issues With Teresa Giudice

The RHONJ alum reflects on her ups and downs with the longtime cast member.

Caroline Manzo may have left The Real Housewives of New Jersey many years ago following Season 5, but she is still very closely tied to The Real Housewives for fans of the Garden State franchise. Five seasons after she exited the series, the RHONJ OG sat down for an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider's Life After Bravo series, where she opened up with great detail about her time on the show — including her ups and downs with Teresa Giudice.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

Caroline noted that while they "very, very casually" knew each other when they joined the show, she says things took a turn "when it became a competition for [Teresa]" as the show's popularity grew. Caroline noted that she was never trying to butt into anyone's life, including Teresa's, but that she was just trying to act as a "big sister to a degree" to Teresa.

So now Caroline is shedding even more light on that time and her issues with Teresa. Caroline explained that years later when she spoke to Teresa again around the time they filmed a 2020 Super Bowl commercial, Teresa allegedly told her that she had issues with her tied to Melissa Gorga and Caroline's behavior towards her when she joined the show.

"That is her claim. No arguing with that. Can't argue with that. I'm not even gonna try," Caroline added.
