Why Stephen Colbert Isn’t a ‘Southern Charm’ Fan

Southern Charm has given us an inside look into the fabulous and often-drama-filled lives of Charleston's socialites over the past five seasons. However, one of the city's famous former residents isn't such a big fan of the Bravo series.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Stephen Colbert, who grew up in Charleston, shared his take on the show when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night. "I know people like it, but I find the whole thing very depressing," he told Andy Cohen.

Don't you worry, Charmers, because there are plenty of celebrities who can't get enough of Southern Charm. This Charleston crew has found famous admirers from the likes of Lady Gaga, Chrissy Teigen, and Kristin Chenoweth. Now that's not a bad list at all.
