Chateau Shereé Is "Very Coveted," Says Real Estate Agent Reza Farahan
The Yours, Mine or Ours broker opens up about #RHOA's most memorable mansions.
Reza Farahan has been traveling the country on his real estate series Yours, Mine or Ours, so when he landed in Atlanta there was one home he knew he had to see for himself.
"I mean we can't forget Chateau Shereé. We did see a preview of it and we're very much looking forward [to seeing more]," he told The Daily Dish about Shereé Whitfield's much-discussed pad. "I did do a Chateau Shereé drive-by when we were in Atlanta filming Yours, Mine or Ours. I will put that out that in my Hyundai rental [car], I did drive by Chateau Shereé, it was very chateau-y. It was chateau-ing it's way, it was almost there. I mean it was [on] a little bit of a busy street."
While Reza is definitely on Team Shereé, he did point out one thing about the construction of The Real Housewives of Atlanta homeowner's massive home. "What we found out when we were shooting in Atlanta is that stucco houses are undesirable. So apparently that's why all the houses there have weird stone and brick," he said. "Do you remember DeShawn Snow? Do you remember DeShawn's house? And Kim and Kroy's house, it's got like stone, all of it, it's because of the weather. You don't want all that water penetrating." This RHOA superfan was quick to recall Kenya Moore's own evaluation of the home in the Season 9 supertease. "But according to Kenya, it's in Chateau her mom's name so... I love me some Shereé. I'll fight Kenya in a heartbeat for some Shereé protection in a minute."
Still, one of the biggest lessons Reza learned from his trip to the ATL is just how much cheaper homes are than in his native Los Angeles. "If I moved to Atlanta I would be big pimping," he said. "I would be like making it rain out of my car window as I'm driving. It's insane what you can get for your money in certain places. I probably couldn't afford Chateau Shereé and Moore Manor and all of Atlanta, but maybe all of Atlanta and Moore Manor. Chateau Shereé has got a hefty price tag on it. It's very coveted."
