Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Don't Always Agree About Food
The model and Bravo superfan talks food and family in the trailer for her upcoming cookbook.
Chrissy Teigen's highly anticipated first cookbook Cravings hits shelves Tuesday, February 23, but you can get a taste for the inspiration behind her collection of delish recipes right now. Chrissy revealed the trailer for Cravings on Entertainment Weekly Monday, and it's filled with behind-the-scenes footage and stories about what food means to the Bravo superfan and her family.
In addition to getting to see Chrissy kid around in the kitchen with hubby John Legend, her dogs, and her parents (which is worth a look in and of itself), we also learn that the power couple doesn't agree on everything. "I actually love very messy food, whereas my husband John, he hates dishes like that," Chrissy revealed.
However, differences can often be a good thing, as Chrissy has found with her diverse background. "Dad's American. He's Norwegian-German. My dad's a very meat and potatoes, hearty kind of guy," Chrissy said in the book trailer. "And my mom is Thai and is the complete opposite, so it's a good balance."
And if you want to know what dinnertime at the Teigen household is like, just open up Cravings. "These recipes that are in this book are important to us as a family, and I feel like everyone's gonna love them," Chrissy said.
