The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans most likely know David Foster looking like the silver-haired music mogul that he appeared as during his time alongside then-wife Yolanda Hadid  while they were on the show together. We've included a video a clip above in case you want to re-familiarize yourself with what he looks like today.

And while David has been famous for quite some time (decades, in fact), we were definitely surprised to see what he looked like back in the day, via a throwback photo he shared of himself on Instagram (check it out here). When exactly does the photo date back to? Well, David offered up some guesses via his caption: "I loved the 90’s.....ok 80’s....ok maybe the 70’s!!!!"

If the photo does indeed hail from the 1970s, that would mean that: A) David was somewhere in his twenties at the time. He was born on November 1, 1949. B) The photo is from a decade in which his future wife, Katharine McPhee, wasn't even a glimmer in her parents' eyes. Katharine came into this world on March 25, 1984.

Just stating the facts here, folks. Plus, they do look very happy together.

Oh, and by the way, here's some more vintage 1980s David Foster for you. So we're going to say it's safe to bet that his throwback on Instagram is definitely pure '70s magic.
